I am Deniz which means "sea" ^^

I have been living in Finland for more than 2 years now, I was doing my masters on Music, Mind and Technology. (Graduated from Psychology and minored in Communication and Design in the capital of Turkey, Ankara) Currently I continue my research on music psychology as a doctoral student.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

I love travelling, like you do.. To me; by couchsurfing you can meet with new people who are able to show traditional way of living in that country. Also I can broaden my horizon with new ideas, smiles, shared foods and talks... What I recently noticed that I made couple of very close friends from CS-so maybe you are the next one :) :)

I have a traveling challenge for myself : each year I will travel to other cities that I haven't been before. So here how it goes:
In 2016, I have visited Copenhagen and Barcelona for the first time.
In 2017 to Porvoo, Lübeck, Weimar, Dresden and Leipzig
In 2018 to Lanzarote, Pello and Baku
In 2019 to Oslo, London, Glasgow, Cambridge, Llangollan, Manchester, Edinburg and will continue wherever life takes me to ... (and life also took me to Belgrade, Lisbon, Porto, San Diego <3, Los Angeles and Yosemite Park)
In 2020... let's see what happens ;)

So far I was living with my family, didn't had chance to host many people (except for my 2 amazing hosts from Germany who came to visit me in Turkey) But now I am looking forward to my turn of hosting nice people around the world!

The more profiles I read on CS, the more I realize how beautiful people are. We vary so much but still you can see different interesting pieces that attracts you! It is also kinda weird to get excited meeting with the people you have only read about...

At the moment, we are organising every 2 weeks - Couchsurfing meeting in Jyvaskyla, going super fun....

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

to follow my dreams all the time which led me great adventures ;)
(for example; going to italy just to see my favorite band-the Fratellis :) )

later on I continued to chase the Fratellis in Lanzarote / Spain in June 2018. was such a magical day to enjoy great music near a volcanic area in the middle of a wine yard

and later on I became even a bigger fan and saw them in Berlin and Amsterdam (on my birthday)-was very special...
