My name is Erik, I grew up and live in Sweden. Im 27 years old and when i am not traveling i work as a chef. When the cold winter comes I often try to leave the country and go out traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was first introduced to couchsurfing in 2011 when i was traintraveling through Europe but didnt put any effort to use it until 2015 when i was traveling around the world. I have been traveling alot lately and the best thing is to meet new exicting people. And i love to invite new friends to my home if they pass my area in Sweden.

Interests

When i was a kid i was in to all sorts of sports. Fotball, floorball, hockey & badminton. When i grew up (Around 12 years old) it was all skateboarding. And that is what i did all my teenage years. Later on i started playing the guitar because i listened to alot of music. After some bands and live gigs i started playing drums and then that became a big part of my life. I went to chefschool and been intrested in food and worked as a chef ever since. I have always liked to travel and since I started earning my own money most of my freetime i spend traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rockmusic, everything from country rock, classic rock n roll to heavy metal and sleezerock. Most of the music i listen to is rock.
I like reading books when travel.
Favourite movie has to be Forest Gump or any other of Imbd´s top 50. But i watch pretty much everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Starting scuba diving is one of the most amazing things Ive done. Since my start in Mexico 2015 i have dived all around the world. Done about 50 dives and one thing I always want to do when traveling.

Another amazing thing I've done is going from New York to Pittsburgh to see a live Icehockey game. I'm a big pittsburgh fan so that was a dream come true!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you invite me to your home i wil share my travelling tips and stories and i really like too cook you some good food and have a nice dinner, i think that is the best way too learn to know eachother.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you host me i will cook you good food and in return i will gladly invite you too sweden to stay at my place. I will share a good mood and some jokes and laughts.
I will be an easy guest that dosent ask for much more than a place to sleep.
