To find out why it is that when someone tells us that there's over 1 BILLION stars in the universe, we believe them, but when we see a "wet paint" sign, we have to TOUCH it just to make sure!

ABOUT ME

A self-proclaimed "intelligent idiot"! Grew up in Europe, but have been living in the US for the last 7 years now with a few stop overs in Guatemala and Mexico City. Currently living in Chicago via Lake Tahoe-Orlando-Boston-Dallas and London. I'm very outgoing, love meeting new people and I ADORE exploring new cultures.
I'm happily married to my Wife, Shannon. We both LOVE traveling and we're trying to get as much of it in while we can. We would love to host as many people and often as possible and can't wait to surf some couches in the near future. I enjoy reading, stimulating my mind with vivid music of all kinds and I enjoy hikes and sleeping in our tent, although I haven't been able to do much of it lately.

I'm gonna try to build and contribute to my community here in Chicago by having as many people surf with us and build relationships through cultures and ideals!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have currently surfed a couple of times and we have have hosted loads and it has been phenomenal experiences and I can definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. I take great value in listening and admiring people who take risks in life and think outside the box.

Interests

I live for travel! Can't think of another way of putting it. I love everything about it, exploring new cultures, chatting with interesting people, eating my way to Diarrhea and getting lost in foreign countries! I usually say that I like cooking and I do... But I usually just end up loving eating new things in new countries even more! The smell of fresh chopped Cilantro makes my day!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I truly enjoy listening to New World,indie,techno,rock,latin american,spoken word,Jazz,Drum & Bass etc.. Specific bands could be: Manu Chao, New Order, Timo Mas, R.E.M., Iron & Wine, Postal Service, Jeff Buckley, Grandaddy etc.

Book: Any books that are very well written, nothing worse than books filled with horrible grammar. But any books that will expand my knowledge and understanding of this universe will do! BUT!! Books I think YOU should read: "The Essential guide to becoming just as cool as me" by Denmarc, "hahaha just kidding, no, but seriously" by Denmarc and "Why I rock" also by the feature artist formerly known as Denmarc :0)
