Become a great doctor, study languages and move together with two friends to finally host people

ABOUT ME

I love my life and enjoy the good, small things happening every day. My friends told me I'm often laughing about things nobody finds that funny. (But I do find the real funny things worth a laugh, too.:P)
I'm happy as long as I got nice people around and someone to talk to. And if I am very comfortable with them I usually get full of energy because of all the excitement of having such a good time. I'd say I'm quite a bubbly person.:D

Besides I aim to become a great doctor am studying medicine This way I can deal with both people and natural sciences.

I want to travel and experience lots of different cultures and lifestyles to get a good understanding of our world and the people living within it. I also hope to get to know and understand myself even better.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy the little things in life (but the big things, too of course;-)).

Be optimistic. If things don't turn out as you wanted to there might be a reason for it and there might happen something that, in the end, you think is even better.

And I think one meaning of life is making other people's lives (even) more worth living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While traveling I had the chance to surf some couches.

As soon as I move together with two of my friends I will finally be able to host others as well.

Interessen

I am totally into medicine. I like reading articles about new therapies as well as books about the physiology and biochemistry of the human body. Understanding how everything in our bodies works, how the molecules react with each other and make our existence possible gives me that feeling of excitement in my stomach. (There have already been a few times when I just couldn't stop talking about medical stuff while being drunk.):D

Learning languages is great, too. Understanding and totally getting into a language is something I found out I love to experience. (And it is the key to really get into local cultures.) Until now I've only had that with English. But I hope I will be able learn and become fluent in more languages.

Oh, and in my free-time I often meet my friends. I enjoy going out and partying from time to time as well as getting together with people to simply chat/cook/drink and have a good time. Having lazy days and being on my own from time to time is important for me, too.

Last summer I also discovered a new hobby of mine: rowing. It was love on first pull.:P

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

During my community service in a clinic for young people with neurological diseases I took care of physically and mentally handicapped children and adolescents. My role there included being an educator for them, motivating them to try to do more and more things by themselves and to, thus, become more independent.

It was amazing to see how much progress these ones I took care of made in a short period of time. I remember one boy who didn't need any help at all any more with some tasks of daily life he struggled to do on his own at the beginning of his stay. I never thought this to be possible and was even a bit proud.

I could explain to you why you need to go to the toilet so frequently when drinking alcohol.:P

Oh and I could help with conversational German of course.;) But as this is my mother tongue teaching grammar would probably be quite hard for me.
