Hello I'm Dennis, a happily retired Police Office/Secondary Teacher. Looking to use my free time to travel and meet new people, alongside my lovely wife Julia, who is also a retired Police Officer and Teacher (we liked his and hers careers!).

Both looking to host and be hosted.

We have a house in the South West London suburbs, around 45mins by train into Central London. As our son has finally moved out we have a spare room which we'd love for people to use, would be great to meet more people from around the world - sharing stories of travels and our respective homes.

I'm a born and raised Londoner, living here for all of my 65 years. So my knowledge of London, both geographical and historical is pretty good, even if I do say so myself!

We live pretty close to Heathrow Airport (around 15mins), so in a great place for stopping/starting a trip to the U.K.

As for being hosted. we are going to New England in October and would like to discover the 'real' America and take in the culture away from the usual tourist traps.

My time in the Police is something I look back in with great pride. Plus seen some amazing wonders like the Northern lights and Machu Picchu.

Reasonable photographer, pretty epic cook (according to my son!) and all round raconteur.
My sense of humour and quick wit has got me into trouble a few times in the past, so hopefully you can take a good joke!
