Overview
About Me
My girlfriend and I have been traveling for a bit the past year, together we went to South America and she on her own went to Nepal and New Zealand. She studied neuropsychology and I studied sports and performance psychology.
We had a lot of fun meeting new people and would love to have people over at our house. We have a spare room where we can pop down 1 or 2 air matresses, you can bring your own but we've got plenty aswell.
Be warned that we're quite early sleepers, usually we hit the hay at around 10.
For me, I have some constant hobbies, these include reading, chase tag and slacklining. Next to that I always try to get some new experiences, a blacksmith course was the last random thing I did.
In the past I've done:
-Poledancing
-Firebreathing
-Acroyoga
-Fencing
-Nunchaku
-Classical ballet
-Skydiving
And many more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting more fun people, sharing world views and also people to just kick it around with. For us this is a way of meeting new people that we wouldn't have met otherwise which I think is amazing. The people we've met from couchsurfing so far have been amazing!
Interests
I love being active. You'll rarely see me sitting still, unless we're in a good conversation. Besides that I find it hard to just write down my interests as they are often in flux and at different periods I have different interests. The ones I wrote down are the most stable.
- board games
- reading
- traveling
- sports
- psychology
- people
- new experiences
- movement
- world chase tag
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really have a favorite at that, most from these 3 I love reading and I burn through books like a mad man. If you have any good suggestions for fiction or non-fiction books hit me up! Mostly I read books that teach me something new, either facts, spiritual or something that makes me reflect on myself.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living, I have a love for live and enjoying it. I feel doing whatever I do is an amazing thing in that moment. Less abstract: I flew a small airplane, been on a stage in front of over 500 people and been on a televised dating show (after which I went viral).
Teach, Learn, Share
I know little about a lot. I'm very much a generalist. In that regard I can teach you general stuff about a lot, and if you have an expertise I can learn from that! And if you want to move around with your body I can help with that as I'm a big student of moving.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good vibes, random knowledge and probably other stuff that's not top of mind at the moment.
