About Me

openminded, travelhappy, friendly, sometimes introverted, sometimes a little disorganized or confused, sometimes creative, always happy to be with nice people. And I loooove to eat (vegetarian) - but don't worry, not your food, I'm actually very shy to take the last bit ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of sharing a roof to crash. Either you simply helped a person stay over without spending ridiculous amounts of money they might not have, (the same vice versa), or you even get to know someone you might cherish as a friend in the future (and who is from somewhere else than just your typical city/social bubble).

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide range of genres, with my picks being the best, obviously... :o) some of my (german-speaking) favorites are Käptn Peng, Antilopen Gang, Spaceman Spiff, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, SXTN and Faber, internationally I cherish Asaf Avidan, Dillon, The Dø, Beirut, Calle 13, Nick Cave, Norah Jones, Iron&Wine, The Shins... and much, more.

Besides university stuff, I read a lot of fantasy like the Kingkiller Chronicles, of course A Song of Ice&Fire or recently the Malazan Book of the Fallen-series, or Sci-Fi like the Imperial Radch-trilogy by Ann Leckie or works of China Miéville.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping from a 15 meters-waterfall. The feeling afterwards was amazing, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to muster the same courage again :D

Teach, Learn, Share

| I'd really love to learn piano, guitar and cello/violin. Don't know how to play anything, though :-/ My ultimate dream would be to play hangdrum!

| I could teach you some basic basketball skills :o)
