关于我

CURRENT MISSION

write a book without becoming boring

ABOUT ME

born on the countryside, moved to berlin about 5 years ago, travelled a fair bit in latin america and asia. currently researching autobiographical turns in recent continental philosophy for my phd, and organizing classes at The Public School Berlin. in the past, i've written about drugs and about gender issues. i'm into politics, but have given up on representative democracy.

things i like:
-pieces of mass-produced candy with a defect. (like m&m's grown together.)
-going through curves in a subway train that consists of one flexible cart, so you can look through it.
-loosely held political convictions.
-principles one gives up for simple pleasure. (like vegetarians that eat a burger when it looks good.)
-colors.
-cooking.
-sleeping with socks on.
-languages.
-all the standard stuff (books, travelling, movies, music, going out, having fun).

things i don't like:
-self-definition.
-self-pity.
-telephones.
-being in contracts.

PHILOSOPHY

philosophy is never personal - it speaks in the name of truth, not in the name of a personal author (see derrida).
