About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"sucking the marrow out of life and sound my barbaric YAWP over the rooftops of the world"

ABOUT ME

I am the kind of person who will sometimes approach a big group of people and say: "Hey guys! You don't know me YET, my name is Denitsa" or accept in the middle of the night the offer of a random taxi driver and take a detour to a friend of his, who happens to be a magician. I am also the kind of person who will sometimes not pick up her phone as I too much enjoy being with myself. I am a million different things and even my face and voice change according to my moments.

I love experimenting with different smells/tastes/feelings... I am very open to the world and perceive every day as a learning opportunity. I like understanding how things work, how they interact with each other and often enjoy observing people from a quiet corner while drinking cappuccino.

I'm currently dreaming of having my own place in sea colours and bamboo stuff everywhere, and taking sailing classes, aaand having a long exciting sea adventure :))) I also want to climb an offshore wind turbine :))))

PHILOSOPHY

Here's something from a man I love very much:

"I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze
than it should be stifled by dry rot.
I would rather be a superb meteor,
every atom of me in magnificent glow,
than a sleepy and permanent planet.
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist.
I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time"

Jack London (1876 - 1916)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is amazing every day and I have the natural talent of attracting strange and amazing experiences :) I enjoy being impulsive - jumping in a pile of autumn leaves, dancing in the rain, hugging trees, getting lost, getting swallowed by dinosaurs... :))) My most amazing moment in 2010 was when I overcame my fear from the unknown and despite the difficult circumstances, I left life as I knew it for an endless adventure across countries. I can see now how necessary this was and how much I've grown, and I am eternally thankful for everything I've experienced, every pain, every joy, every single moment away from home, for all the amazing people I've met and for everything we've shared. As for 2011, I'm very happy to have had the opportunity to realize my dream trip to (N.) Ireland, to attend gorgeous CastleFest in the Netherlands and to change countries again (Belgium => Germany). In 2012 I climbed a 100m wind turbine and chilled out on its top - it was AMAZING :) In 2013 I walked 600 km to Santiago de Compostela, one of the greatest adventures in my life! Looking forward to new adventures!
