ABOUT ME

I love to travel. I life crafting things. I roast coffee, brew beer, mix cocktails, and create amazing meals. I also like crafting things outside of the kitchen, on the internet, and in my garage.

I want to see hearts changed. I want to see people being completely who God created them to be. Time is our only resource that we can't make more of. I want to help people make the most of the time they have.

PHILOSOPHY

Freedom. This is the ultimate goal. Freedom to be fully who I am. Freedom to live my calling. Freedom from the chains that hold me down so I can help set you free.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love having great conversation and finding out what we have in common. Living in China has continued to amaze me. No matter how different people are, we are all still 90% the same. We all experience the same emotions, and have the similar needs and desires. I want to get to know you, and I want to help you find your way.

Just recently I hosted two guys from Austin, Texas here in China. We went to the gym and had a hard Crossfit workout, and then went out to eat and shared a bottle of wine. We talked about our businesses, how we could help each other out, and talked a lot about children (he had one, I don't). It was great. If we host you, we want to help you have a great experience. If you host me and/or my wife, I want to make sure you get a memory worth keeping, and hopefully a new friend!

Musica, film e libri

I read a lot of books. Today I'm reading The Power of Habit. Last week I read A Wrinkle In Time. The week before that I read Tribes. The Bible has shaped my soul and character more than any other book, but I enjoy an incredible amount of words in my life. The 4 Hour Work Week is a brief introduction to how I desire to operate my business, and Primal Blueprint is a good dive into how I attempt to care for my body.

Let's see...
Hiked Taishan, one of the five holiest mountains in China.
Drove for 48 hours out of 60 hours. I had to go pick up my dog and only had a weekend.
Rode a motorcycle at 135mph (65kph).
Ate scorpions.
Built a coffee roaster.
Married the most amazing woman.
Watched hearts come to understand love before my eyes.
Had an indescribable spiritual experience that changed my existence forever.
