=== Small Yet Important Request ===

I'm starving to visit those places that aren't entirely for tourist. When I go to somewhere I prefer to dive into the history and culture of that place, mindset of its citizens, and of course tasty (and maybe not :D) specific food! I do want to absorb into the place I go to. Other people, other languages, other food, other banknotes and coins—that's so amazing!

The same thing is from my side. During interesting talkings and strolls I can tell you a thousand facts about my country and the cities where I lived and live, I'll try to share my emotions! Of course, I can bring you something from my places, just ask about it—I love making gifts so as to make people a bit happy :)

=== Me In A Nutshell ===

And now, finally hello to all from Venice of the North, St. Petersburg! =)

I'm Den, now 24 y.o. Almost two years ago I have successfully received a MSc degree in applied informatics, and soon I'm going to move further, that is gaining a PhD.

The same time, I have already been working for more than 5 years as a technical writer (earlier) and programmer (now). I can spend hours and days in front of the monitor, that's cool because the reality of code sometimes seems to me much closer and more pleasant than what surrounds me :D However I fully realize I must change it because I would like to be more, so-called, socialized... Perhaps... :) That's why I'm here! The world has nearly no borders — so many interesting people and things! Yeah-yeah, recently I have started to realize this :)

I do love long walks, especially in evenings. Either alone but with my favourite music, or with a really cool company so their voices and moods are my music :)

Russian is my mother tongue, I'm rather fluent in English and can sometimes be pretty fluent in German (aber leider nicht oft :D). I have studied Japanese and Hungarian, now studying Kyrgyz and Uzbek, a little bit Turkish and Chinese, and 15+ other nice languages. I do love to dive into worlds of languages' grammar (this is another world besides the world of programming that I also love).

Zainteresowania

I love a wide range of activities and things and sometimes it's rather difficult to prioritize them. However I can definitely name programming and foreign languages those activities, which I find the most time for and which I am exceedingly keen on. Among other hobbies I have theoretical medicine, music (I'm a former pianist — hmm and who said there must be 'former' ones? :D). And of course I do love to eat! :D

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I listen mostly to classical music (Brahms, Chopin, Scriabin, Prokofiev, Bruckner, Moszkowski, Schuman). Besides, I prefer those pieces that sound not just a simple array of sounds but something comprising soul and sense (for example, I love Unheilig (German industrial), Keane (British piano-rock), Edda Művek (Hungarian hard rock), Mor ve Ötesi (Turkish rock), jealkb (J-rock), Сурганова и Оркестр (Russian pop-rock) etc. So if I find both music and lyrics not only cute but also meaningful, there's a huge probability I'll love these groups :)
