About Me

A Ukranian-Canadian spending all his time around the world. I'm interested in how everything fits together, and everyone that make it happen.

CURRENT MISSION

I'm traveling at a slower pace, really get a feel for lives that people live around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love discovering and sharing hidden spots in the neighborhood, llive music, nice views, atmospheric spaces.

Interests

Everything! I love walking, nature, good food, sitting and discussing the vast intricacies of life, or running off on crazy adventures. I'm also interested in pushing myself to the limit, discovering new music, learning new skills, and helping out anyone who will accept my help.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is something I can't live without. It adds colour and flavour to my life, and has no limits. I love all kinds of music, some of my favourite artists right now are TV on the Radio, Hot Chip and Metronomy, but I also really enjoy all sorts of music from around the world, from old Russian Rock, to the sweet Latin Tango and salsa (I can even play some Astor Piazzolla on the piano).

Movies are not my forte, I'm honestly not the nuttiest film lover out there. But I try! I've enjoyed from classics, to modern Hollywood blockbusters, and everything in between (Guy Ritchie's films hold a special spot in my heart). I also love anything weird, like 101 Reykjavik.

Books are something I've treasured since childhood. I especially love fiction, I think it really captures the imagination and conflicts of the times that it is written in. Quirky weird books are great too, like the Wild Sheep Chase, or mind-expanding ones like Head Trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pack up all my things into boxes, quit my job, and take off across the world with just my laptop and the bag in my bag in my bag in my bag.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you've got a matchbox, I can show you a mind blowing trick. (Update 2020: I forgot the trick, but we can figure it out together)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my energy, curiosity, experiences, and passions! I love cooking, building things, fixing things, I can teach you how to drink like a fish while sharing my extensive (and unnecessary) knowledge of world history!
