For me CS offers opportunities getting to know regions and countries from the inside. Not feeling like a common tourist but more like a learning visitor of the country and its people. What I like in travelling is getting to know different perspectives on the world, alternative ways of everyday life and therefore I try to find access to peoples who live right there where I travel to. I always try to find people among my friends or in web communities willing to join me because I like to share these experiences. Keeping my eyes peeled for hosts willing to invite me in their living environments and saving some time for the next trip beside work, study friends and family is one of my current missions. In this way of getting around I experienced uncountable wonderful moments in the past in all the countries I visited and I hope the best for more of those moments in the future.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy deep and philosophical conversations as well as having fun and fooling around with nice people. I enjoy to be with people in couples or in groups, exchanging perspectives and ideas about life (That's why I am here ;-)). On the other hand I really enjoy to reflecting all these impressions while I am alone. The best trip combines both sides in my opinion: Moments of exchanges and experiences and moments of reflections.

I am using couchsurfing especially for coming around and having an alternative to common possibilities of accomodation. I enjoy to share some time of peoples everyday life. When I stuck on that place I live at I try to be a cordial host.

When I look through my Room I see a guitar, some pictures at the wall I painted and my stereo which I like to turn on in the morning. Aside I read random novels I grabbed anywhere, but there are also many nonfiction books I read if the topic is fascinating. Mostly they are linked to my study in the broadest sense. For some years I am really interested in social and global politics and here I am very active informing myself.
