Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
To be where I am and soak up all that beautiful life juice
ABOUT ME
I guess the mission statement goes a long way towards explaining my wee existence, but here is some more filler. I’ve been going to school since I was 5 and am now 29, now finally getting paid a tupance while I learn. In the meantime I have been traveling every chance I get. I have spent most of my infrequent breaks in South East Asia but have also passed some time in Europe and Central America. I just returned from a year in South America, 6mo traveling/6mo working. I love to keep moving, mentally and physically, and traveling does that to me. Alaska, my birthplace, has its tendrils sunken deep, but, I am here now, and I love this town and its people more by the day, and have given trying to predict where I'll end up. I love what I do, what I will do in the future, and the fact that I don’t entirely know what that is yet.
Life is funny! I hope I never lose sight of that.
Music is very important to me. Unfortunately, however, the ratio of my music appreciation skills to my music creation skills is imposing, to say the least. I love to to dance, despite the right angles in my knee joints.
Life is good, and despite what you may hear, it’s getting better. This site is a perfect example of that.
Apparently I also like using the word ‘I’ to kick of a sentence.
PHILOSOPHY
Viktor Frankl has this amazing physics vector that I have modified and embraced as a more tangible embodiment of my belief in intelligent optimism. I'd love to talk about it if you are interested.

Interessen
Anything in the mountains or on snow; anything on two wheels especially racing through rollercoaster city streets, tears streaming down my face, dodging cars, and howling at the moon; meeting people for 24 hours on a bridge in Lao or an abandoned building in Bolivia and knowing their soul better than that of an old friend; books that don't contain the word peristalsis; drawing; playing the guitar (badly); singing (badly); undeserved medicine; immigration health; single payer healthcare policy reform; peanut butter; chickens and eggs w/ fatty orange yolks that mirror the sun
