One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found a porcelain cat named Pierre in a thrift shop in Southern Illinois. I adopted him, and now he lives here in Chicago with me and my girlfriend, Elizabeth.

I can teach you how to tie a bowline knot. If you can already tie a bowline knot, I can teach you how to tie a Figure Eight on a bight. If you already know how to tie that, you probably know more than I do. I can help fix a flat tire on your bike. If you can do that, we can fix the shifting. If you already know how to fix your bike's shifting, fix flat tires, and tie a figure 8, there is probably nothing I can teach you. But I will share a beer with you and try to learn how you know so much about bikes and knots.
