关于我
I'm originally from Massachusetts outside of Worcester, but I moved down to Nashville about 5 years ago. I've been playing and writing some music down there, and I'm now starting to try and take my music on the road to as many states and cities as I can.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
Since I'm starting to travel and play in cities where I don't know anyone, I'd love the chance to meet some people that could tell me about where they live in. There is always a Campground or Wal-Mart Parking lot to park in, but meeting some local people is always my favorite part of doing this.

音乐、电影和书籍
My favorite music would have to be anything from the 60's whether it be the rock music like the Beatles, The Who, or The Rolling Stones, or the music from the folk scene like Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, or Joan Baez. I've also loved digging though some of the older music history such as the Delta Blues and folk singers Like Mississippi John Hurt and Blind Willie McTell, to the Appalachian music of The Carter Family and Elizabeth Cotton. also Since I've been living in Nashville I've been finding myself listening to some of the classic country and bluegrass musicians like Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, The Stanley Brother, Lester Flatt, and Bill Monroe.
My favorite movies when I'm missing Massachusetts would be Good Will Hunting or The Departed. I'm also a huge fan of documentaries, especially anything by Ken Burns. I would say the most recent movies I watched that made me ball like a baby had to be Moonlight. That movie tore me up and I loved it.
When it comes to reading I love some poetry and short stories. I just read some of W. H. Auden's poems and I found is endearing and thoughtful, and my favorite book of short stories by far would be Hemingway's "In Our Time". I would also say I love Hemingways' "The Old Man and The Sea" and "Garden of Eden".
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I guess the one thing that could be considered amazing to some people, is had the ability to make sure my music and writing has kept in the for front of my life. It's my longest running obsession that I still haven't shaken off, and I've loved having the ability to create and travel because of it. I've now traveled and met people throughout half of out country already, and I now have plans to even make it up to Canada this year.

The one thing I've learned is to always listen before talking. the person next to you probably has some advice or knowledge you know nothing about, and hearing their stories, struggles and successes is the first step to allowing them to connect with you. I've always loved listening to stories, and allowing people to share theirs has only made me a more empathetic and thoughtful person.

I can always share a private show from the couch they are offering me. and If I have a few extra CD's of music I can probably leave a couple copies on the coffee table before I leave. and if I'm first to rise, I'll make a fresh pot off coffee and could maybe make some eggs and home fries if I made some good money the night before at the gig.
