My Mission:

To constantly experience life by exploring new places, taking risks and encountering all types of people.

About Me:

I like to explore new places, ideas, and personalities. I think life is supposed to be an adventure and the best way to experience the adventure is to constantly be open to every experience and opportunity with a positive attitude.

I'm all about experiencing life. I've been to New York City, all the way down the middle of the US to Arizona, California, Florida, Denver, and both oceans.

I've always done things career related that didn't just pay the bills, but offered a new experience. I joined the military right out of high school. I entered the seminary for the Roman Catholic Church for a few years, I've worked at a Boys and Club, county jail, and currently work at a Children's Home that offers residential mental health treatment.

The reason why I love Couchsurfing is the great intimacy that comes with meeting a fellow surfer and sharing stories/ideas. I haven't had a bad experience yet.

I believe the best way to experience life is to not have a plan. Plans can often times get in the way of relationships. I think life is all about building relationships. I enjoy Couchsurfing because this is a way to build relationships with people from all walks of life, different beliefs, cultures, attitudes, and ideas. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my ideas and insights, as well as hearing those from others. Every time we encounter a new person and share thoughts and ideas, we are constantly changed, and when we change we grow into a fuller individual with more insight and perspective than before. One of the greatest pleasures in life to me is friendship and meaningful conversations.

兴趣

I enjoy hunting and fishing, as well as topics such as philosophy, psychology, and history.

I like to hear peoples' stories and hear about their life and decisions. I think people are very interesting and each person has so much to offer in terms of experiences and ideas. I could care less about what someone can offer materially.

I took a bus from South Dakota to Texas just for the experience of taking a bus down the middle of the country.

My Philosophy:

Treat everyone with respect and don't judge. You never know what people have been through which makes them the way they are. Life can be as simple or complicated as we want it to be, but I prefer to keep things simple. Life isn't about having a lot of money, fast cars, and tons of shallow friends. Life is about knowing yourself, respecting fellow human beings, and being open to experience.

I am very easy to get along with and am incredibly respectful. I like to just go with the flow so making plans will never be much of an issue. I enjoy sharing my own insights and experiences, and enjoy hearing about those from others.
