Heyoo! I'm Derek! I'm 20 years old and in my third year at Chapman University, studying Graphic Design with a minor in LGBTQ Studies. After studying abroad in Auckland, New Zealand, I've been bitten by the travel bug and am excited to start traveling and seeing the world. I love to make new friends, have a good time, and boogie!

I have 4 years of experience working with kids (ages 4-12) so I am super child-friendly!

I haven't been able to host any surfers since I am between housing situations while traveling and in school, but hosting is definitely in my future.

I am currently studying abroad in Auckland, New Zealand, and am looking to do a few months of backpacking once the semester ends. Currently looking into traveling to New Zealand's south island, Tonga, Samoa, and Australia. Would love to meet some locals and experience the cultures that I am traveling through.
