Soy Canadiense,

I grew up in a small town called Stevensville, just inside of Fort Erie Ontario. Much of my youth involved outdoor activities, playing sports and trying to get along with our chickens, dogs and miniature Pygmy goat (Coco). After I graduated from University I dove right into the working world. I moved out to Lloydminster Alberta and worked on oil rigs for a year. Came back to Ontario to drive transport truck and worked on natural gas lines. I quit a job in April 2015 and decided to do some travelling and workaway experiences. I have recently completed courses in sustainable agriculture and have been working on farms ever since. I am renting an apartment and teaching English in Portoviejo. I will be here until Feb 2018.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is a great alternative to finding accommodations world-wide. Typically hotels and motels can be isolating so I would rather stay in a hostel or use Air BnB and now couch surfing whenever possible. I would like to start hosting people soon.
