Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My kids are nearly all grown up and launched into the world, so now I get to explore the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Guitar based rock/metal/hardcore music mostly. Not so much into the screaming style of vocals though.
Movies - anything with a story that is thought provoking, so not hollywood formula, mass produced garbage.
Books - character based stories, Tim Winton is probably my favourite author mainly because he writes about places I grew up.

I have learned the secret to happiness is connection with people. that can be in many different forms, but usually starts with a smile and then is followed up with actions not words.

I can do remedial massage on specific injuries or conditions. I can cook, clean and garden.
