I'm a 25 year old previous mechanical engineer. Recently quit my job with the hopes and plans for traveling the world!

I'm happiest when I'm outdoors and around people who can contribute to a "big life talk." I'm quick to banter and joke around but always respectful and mindful of other peoples perspectives and opinions. Like most travelers the process of being a traveler re-centers me and allows me to find balance in the every day life of a 9-5 job. I've grown to realize that balance is one of the most important aspects of a happy life, which I've unfortunately had to learn the hard way. Sacrificing "today" for "tomorrow" seldom pays off.

My two cornerstones for any type of relationship is "open" and "honest" Sometimes the honesty comes off as blunt or strong willed however it allows the person to fully understand my opinion and situation.

I am truly accepting as everyones beliefs as we each are able to find and believe in whatever allows us to become the person we desire. Pushing opinions and beliefs doesn't (in my opinion) allow the person to formulate their own individual views and opinions but instead sees them as rules or laws in which to pass or fail.

I'm hoping Couchsurfing will allow me to get closer to the culture in the area's I'm traveling. I find my interests for traveling are far from the typical tourist lifestyle. I travel to see how other people live and adventure in beautiful areas.
