ABOUT ME

I am a person who loves life. I work to find joy in everyday things. At the core I want to change the world and believe deeply in the potential of humanity to help move us forward. I am also a very curious person who loves hearing people's stories.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe deeply in the potential of people. I believe that ultimately we want to do good and be good. We are not perfect, we make mistakes, we sometimes become lost or overpowered by other emotions, but ultimately we try our best to be good and do good.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Over the two years I had conversations with over 2300 people about community. The one that stands out the most was from an international student from Ethiopia who said:

I Build community by showing up and doing my part, and from this community naturally develops.

I try to live by this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fortunate to have a great network of friends across Canada who I usually stay with when I travel. I have couch surfed in Hamilton, Ottawa and Victoria, all of which were great experiences. though I hope to soon. My buddy Phil put our place up on couch surfers a couple years ago and we hosted two couch surfers during that time. Both were awesome and interesting people.

Intereses

I am deeply passionate about changing the world through helping find and unlock the gifts in people and community. I am also highly politically engaged and want to help revitalize democracy in Canada. I also loving playing sports and games of almost any type.

I love most movies. My favorites being the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

I listen to all kinds of music, in highschool I played rock music in a band

I have an addiction to books, mainly nonfiction. In particular I read:

Algo increíble que he hecho

The most amazing thing I have ever seen was the first time I drove through the Rocky Mountains, they simply took my breathe away.

A close second was seeing Victoria Falls. It was sooo big and full of life.
