ABOUT ME

All about me - that's a story to be told one to one.

In October 2012 I was told my cancer had returned. There was not much point in having treatment this time, so I decided I wanted to prove to myself and others that having terminal cancer doesn't mean you have to stop living.

Three weeks later on November 12th 2012 I left England to embark upon a cycle trip around the world, with the hope that my experiences and fortitude, often in the face of considerable adversity would inspire others.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the person you want to be, not the person other people might have you be. It took me too long to work this out, but now I actually like myself.

The Lord Of The Rings is my favorite movie trilogy and the main reason why I will visit NZ.

My music tastes are very varied, from the Beatles to Beethoven. In particular I enjoy good songwriters and lyrics.

Love reading Sci-fi and adventure related true stories.

I have survived cancer for many years. Now I wake up every day and thank God for each new dawn I'm fortunate enough to witness.

I love photography and enjoy teaching others. I have run landscape workshops here in the UK and really enjoy sharing my passion.

I hope during my travels to learn at least another language!
