Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expand my friend-base in the Pittsburgh area, get my foot in the door with an advertising firm, and find a cozy cafe to do work and call my own!
ABOUT ME
Tall. Lanky. Goofy. Sincere. Optimistic.
Those are the base ingredients.
PHILOSOPHY
"So shines a good deed in a weary world" -Willy Wonka. My favorite movie of all time also provides me with my favorite quote. I believe in leading a life that is honest. I try my hardest to always do what I believe to be right, being as selfless as possible, and that optimism and kindness can not only make your day better, but someone else's as well. Karma is for real.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I suppose this means how I will use the site. I will be using it to meet people in Pittsburgh, make friends and hopefully, in the future, with the permission of my roommates, be a host to all of you needing a couch (or more likely, a futon) to crash on.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, I joined CouchSurfer to get to know people in Pittsburgh since I just moved here, but if it goes well, it will be nice to have it as a resource for future traveling adventures. Traveling has certainly become a greater interest in my life as of late. CS is but another reason for me to get out and see the U.S and the WORLD!
Interests
Playing guitar and writing music. A new hobby of mine. Writing on my blog. A great creative outlet. Watching and attending Pirates games. Memories of attending games as a kid had a part in my decision to move to Pittsburgh. Signing up to get free things. Who doesn't like that, right? Drinking gin. Recently voted spirit of choice..by me. Cooking. Being surrounded by food is probably my favorite part of working in a grocery store. Food and cooking genuinely make me happy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Avett Brothers, and undecided. The first two are hands down my favorites, but I don't feel the same way about any one book. So I'm not going to force that title on undeserving pages.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've caught 7 birds in my life-time. With my own 2 hands. No traps. Wait for the final kicker.... and 2 were hummingbirds.
I hope to one day write on here "Witnessed a winning season for the Pittsburgh Pirates".
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you see the bright-side of things. Corny, but that's what I best have to offer. So long as you are living, you are learning, and I like to think that, if you share with me your story, I can tell you what you have to be thankful for.
