I was born in Des Moines, Iowa,
then I moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota,

I would recommend using the website livemocha.com if you are interested in learning languages for free. You can do lessons, submit them for review, and chat with native speakers! livemocha recently merged with the well known Rosetta Stone.
