I am Derek Lyons 52, from Redditch, I have lived here over just over 2 months now. I was originally from Redditch and Birmingham west Midlands's area of the country and lined in Milton Keynes for nearly 20 years., I am working as a cleaning operative for Nuffield health and gym, and I have been here over 2 years now. I like 1980s music-tv series Airwolf and the A-team, and I eat out at McDonalds for burgers and chips and other restaurants to. I like to read books-newspapers, watch movies apart from horror movies. I am 5ft 6ins tall medium build brown hair blue eyes and I wear glasses. I go cycling walking around Milton Keynes am learning to swim to, and a friendly quiet person sometimes.

I like to meet different people from various countries, and hear about their lives to. Also maybe do things to gather learn some of their language too.

Interests

I have been learning to swim the last 5 months, at work I tried some up to march this year. I have not swum for 28 years before. I go to the gym at work to and do cross training, or workouts and like cycling walking to. I like to meet new people too, find out about other places cultures as well.

1980s music mainly I like Elton John, Duran Duran, mainly on the radio, and I like all sorts of films James Bond, action films all sorts apart from horror movies. Books I read mainly autobiographies of people, from Simon Weston Falklands hero, to Jim Davidson and Robert Shaw.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled around the world in 1991, this was with a singles hoilday. I went to Thailand-Bangkok, seeing different cultures going by river barge and seeing the countryside too. travelling around the country, Chang Mai by train was interesting to and long canals covering the city to. Also I travelled to the Philippines and went to a wedding, there saw a volcano erupted to when we stayed in Manila
