ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people, experiencing new things, and keeping life interesting. My wife and I have traveled extensively over South America, Europe, and Asia while working for about 16 months, and across Eastern Europe during an extended honeymoon. I hope to keep the fun alive through Couch Surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to CouchSurfing, but now that I will be stateside for a while, I want to give it a try and hopefully use it as a new way to meet new, interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate good movies of any genre, and have a fairly similar, wide-ranging taste in music. I generally prefer nonfiction, historical books and enjoy learning about different periods of history and cultures by reading them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving home and spending 16 months traveling around the world with my girlfriend and a backpack was a life-changing adventure that resulted in many new friendships, perspectives, understandings, and memorable experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of experiences, knowledge, and stories to share from my time living and traveling in many countries abroad, and love to hear interesting stories from others and get ideas for future travels. Beyond that, I enjoy hearing new perspectives and new ideas from all types of people.
