ABOUT ME

I believe life is all about learning , being open to new experiences, taking and making the most of each day.
I sort of subscribe to the principle that you can't control what life throws at you but you do control how you receive it and i want to make the most of everything that comes my way because ultimately I believe that's how we become better people.
I'd like to think I am an easy going guy , very much keen to see and experience as much of the world as I can and meet up with like minded people.
Grew up in Zimbabwe, currently living and working in London England after having spent the past few years in Australia which is now kind of my home, planning on travelling around the country and Europe ...
Photography is a major hobby of mine, hanging out with friends, reading and I do love a good coffee ( I'm no connoisseur sadly though)
Love my family and friends as well and that is me in a nut shell :)

PHILOSOPHY

The latest Emirates tagline - the more of the world we see, the richer we become - kind of captures how I see the world at the moment, my interpretation of it isn't literally place tallying but more the interactions we have with local people and cultures, learning form them and also imparting part of who I am to become a better person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still learning and would like to not only enrich my life with the travel experiences but also through interacting with other people from different backgrounds and cultures because its only through such experiences that we become better people..
And I suppose it always nice to break up with the monopoly of daily life with an experience that challenges your daily routine - even if it is just coffee in an unfamiliar place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met up in Tokyo as well as Shanghai with fellow couch surfers and it was a blast to not only meet each one of them but to also experience a new city with like minded people.
I'm hoping the rest of my couch surfing experiences are not only similarly fruitful but also lead to great friendships.

Interests

Photography - challenging myself in how I see the world through the lens.
Music - cant play any instruments but I quite like listening to music generally all genres and going to concerts every now and then.
Reading - from classics to modern literature : I still prefer an actual book as well though have recently upgraded to a kindle lol
Travelling - I like to go to new places seeing the world and meeting up with other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Alternative rock - Coldplay ,The Script, Josh Pyke , The Cat Empire as well lots of independent artists, basically most genres of music except country music and metal rock.
Current favorite movies - anything by Pixar lol
and a Beautiful mind , good dramas that keep you intrigued. I really loved the Chinese movie - a Simple life - I saw it on Cathay flight coming home and i was struck by its simple yet beautiful message.
