CURRENT MISSION

Inspired by Rolf Potts' book 'Vagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel', I am and have been exploring the world on my own terms. My mission has always been to stoke a friendly curiosity in people, places, and things in all the cities I visit.

ABOUT ME

Hiked the Appalachian Trail.
Lived and worked in Asia (3 years).
Performed Improv Theatre in front of 500 person audiences.

- Global public speaking phenomenon in 800+ cities. 20 ppt slides by 20 seconds per slide. Local experts share extraordinary topics in this format described as 'beat-the-clock performance art'.

I've backpacked and couchsurfed my way through Korea, China, Japan, The Philippines, Australia, India, England, France, Norway, and Peru.

I'm a certified yoga teacher, a professional voice over actor, I enjoy writing and playing music on guitar and voice, I love martial arts (especially Aikido), and I'm friendly and interested in hearing others' stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted couchsurfers from my apartments in Seoul and met and stayed with phenomenal hosts in a dozen countries. I've done coffee, meet ups, and provided itinerary advice to travelers looking for spot-on suggestions of things to do in my city.
