ABOUT ME

CS wont let me change my name on here so I'll just explain here that this is a joint account now. My fiancé is the one in my profile picture, her name is Kayla.

We are a couple living in our new house that we bought last year in the foothills above Fresno. We love to travel and meet new people. We love to go hiking in the areas around where we live. We just got some Kayaks for Christmas so we will definitely be going up to the lake to do some of that this summer. There is a place near where we live where we can hike to a big system of caves that we like to explore. We also enjoy relaxing nights in with some good food and wine or beer and just watching some TV or movies.

PHILOSOPHY

Our personal philosophy is to do what makes us happy. It's not about how much money you make, it's about what you do with it. We try to have fun as often as we possibly can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a host for over a year now and have also used CS during my trip to Europe this last September.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my couchsurfing experiences have been awesome! I have hosted around 30 people now and they've all been amazing.

Interests

Hiking, surfing, camping, beer/wine, TV/movies, board games and card games, and shooting. I've noticed that a lot of people from outside the US have never shot a gun! That's something we can remedy if you like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love the SciFi genre. My favorite bands include, Paramore, Nightwish, Kamelot. My favorite books are Ender's Game, Dune, and anything by Michael Chriton. I have way to many movies that I love to list them. Lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During our time in Europe my brother and I stayed with a guy from Holland on his family's dairy farm. We met him and his girlfriend on a train in Italy and he invited us to come visit them in Heerenveen. We got to round up and milk his cows and even got to bottle feed the calves!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning. I have a big collection of Rosetta Stone software that I'll never get all the way through, but I am working on it. I love to hear about other people's experiences. You never know what other people can introduce you to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

You mean besides my fantastic personality and witty humor?!
I can teach you how to cook some bomb-ass (Translation: Really, really yummy) macaroni and cheese with hot dogs and/or hamburgers. As a host I can teach you to shoot a gun. :)
