About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Moving to live in Berlin!
ABOUT ME
Hi,
I used to work as a public transport planner in Sydney Australia. I have traveled a lot through Central and North America, I have lived in Copenhagen and London, and also traveled across Russia, Mongolia, China India, and South East Asia.
I love traveling and am currently spending 2.5 months in the USA.
I am going to study a Sociology Masters in Berlin, the course is called Intercultural Conflict Management. (I became interested in this field whilst working with refugees in Australia).
I eat healthy and cycle a lot. (I also love beer and whiskey!).
I love Berlin, it's art scene and nightlife are amazing. I am also very interested in German culture generally and studied the German language in high school. It has always been a dream of mine to live in Berlin so now I am making it happen!
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live, I believe in personal freedom and letting people do whatever they want as long as it doesn't harm others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly I am actually looking for a WG in which to rent my own room - in East Berlin. But I am very interested in meeting locals.
I really interested in sharing stories and to better educate myself about Germany, maybe practice some language and help others to know what it's like to be an Australian!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have no couch surfing experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies include blue velvet, moon, spinal tap, aliens - i could go on for hours!!
my favourite authors are henry miller and peter carey, also a big fan of kurt vonnegut. I read a lot - way too many to list here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the catacombs in palermo in Sicily. that was absolutely the strangest thing I have ever seen. The pyramids and temples in Mexico and Guatemala are up there with some of the best things i've seen. And finally, china and japan and the amazing amount of development and population density in such a different culture to my western one.
Also, INDIA - OMG no words can describe that place but many discussions could be had.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge of public transport ha ha, pretty boring, but i can share about my previous experiences traveling the world and living overseas.
I can share my experience about life in Australia.
