I have mainly lived in Prague for the past 10 years, with some time in Shanghai, Brussels, Kuala Lumpur, Berlin on and off as expat.

Travel is my passion, Couchsurfing was my source of inspiration in my early backpacker days as a student.

Life’s been… interesting (please choose a story to mention in the request so I know you’ve read the profile) :
1. Survived a midnight Sahara navigation “detour” (stars are better without Google Maps).
2. Negotiated freedom from a gang of Sumatran orangutans (they just wanted snacks).
3. Convinced my legs to hike 140km in the Swiss Alps. They’re still mad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed to lots of places and went to several meet-ups. I also hosted people form all over the world when my place is available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Back in 2011, for the first time I traveled alone, I was really nervous about the upcoming journey, then a friend told me about Couchsurfing; It opened a totally new world for me, especially when I had a deep talk with my host and other 2 surfers all night. I realized with Couchsurfing I could achieve more than just a tourist. because it make me more connected with the place by communicating with locals; That's why I keep doing it in the following years.
