I'm Deren. I live and work in Sydney but love travelling, spending time in the outdoors and learning about different cultures. I also enjoy hiking and learning about the natural world.

I enjoy meeting local people and learning about their experiences in their homelands. I find this one of the best understand a country, learn about its people, its history, its challenges and how to make the best out of my stay as well as give back to the local community. Currently, my situation does not allow me to accommodate fellow Couchsurfers in my home however I hope to one day do so.
