I am Deri. I am a friendly and honest individual in search of adventure. I am mindful, compassionate and constantly striving to better myself and to learn. I want to meet new people, experience other cultures, to share the beauty of life:)
I have done some traveling, but there is so much more for me to see! I feel I have much vision to share, that seeing the world will empower & shape me so I can do more to help the world, and I would like some help and inspiration from you wonderful people. I hope to share many good times and create many good memories with you.

It's a bit difficult for me to host at the moment. I've bought a house I'm renovating, it needs crazy amounts of work, but I should have a second room ready before too long. You're welcome to come camp here though, that's pretty much what I'm doing:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need to explore, see the world, meet new people and get to know my brothers and sisters that live afar. I don't have any commitments stopping me at the moment, so before I settle down and start a family in years to come, I want to make the most of this time. The travels I have been on so far have widened my perspectives and I would like to widen them further. Living within the society that I do, makes you lose your realization that humanity is still living and breathing strong, and immersing myself into the unknown has succeeded in reaffirming my faith so far, it has just been too long and so I must hit the road again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - In honesty I mainly listen to drum and bass, reggae and hip hop. But I love most genres :D Life needs a soundtrack.

Books - Too many people facebook, instead of read book! Me- Mainly non fiction & anything of a revolutionary nature. I like to read literature with moral substance. Something enlightening, to enhance clarity and my competence to talk about certain subjects. I've read a few autobiographies of some amazing people recently - Charley Chapin, Fidel Castro, Macolm X, gd stuff!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiked from Bulgaria across Turkey with no money. (I know that's probably nothing compared to some of you, but it's a start;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the least I can offer my character, my insight, and a helping hand with household duties, gardening & building work. I will be happy to help with anything, in return for your kindness to show me around and provide me with shelter for a while. I will help however I can. I will happily return your hospitality, if you choose to come visit where I live :)
