About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get in shape before my next birthday.
I do one sit-up daily, while on inspiring days, two sit-up. One is after waking up in the morning, and another one is after an afternoon nap. One hundred sit-up for one hundred days. I can feel it. Six packs are coming!
ABOUT ME
I enjoy playing sports, especially badminton, swimming and rollerblading. Some days, I go out for a run, hike or workout at the gym.
Since my school days, I was taught to always ask permission before I go to toilet. Funnily out of habit, I sometimes report about myself before heading to toilet. I must wash my hands after that. Because, cleanliness is important.
LIFE PHILOSOPHY
"Be yet wiser"
"Always grateful"
"Peace and harmony"
"Compassion conquers all"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Dec 2018, I started my first solobackpacking trip. I had experienced many new things and met awesome people along the way. An amazing thing I discovered was couchsurfing community. There was a guy whom I met five minutes after I arrived at a hostel. We spoke to each other like the textbook way;
That guy: Hey mate, how are you? :)
Me: Hi, I am good mate. How about you?
That guy: I am good too. I am from the Philippines. Where are you from?
Me: Cool! I am from KL. Nice to meet you.
That guy: Nice to meet you too. Are you going for the couchsurfing meetup tonight?
Me: Oh? What's that?
At that time, I was clueless with the term "couchsurfing." The conversation went on for quite a while as I was increasingly curious. And, the next thing that happened was both of us joined the couchsurfing meetup in one of the cafes at Georgetown, Penang.
From there, I realised travellers around the world and local couchsurfers were present at the same place! They started talking about various topics. Then, a guy from England who was sitting next to me opened up a conversation. He spoke about his favourite chocolate cake - back in his hometown, Newcastle. Yup, I immediately replied chocolate is my favourite too. We became friends in that moment.
This is why I am on Couchsurfing - to meet like-minded people and continue exploring the World with a community of travellers.

"The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your Dreams."
Someday, I'm gonna travel the whole world. Gather all the amazing stories and live long enough to tell the tale to my great grandkids.
Teach, Learn, Share
I got interested with share investment back when I was a student, and decided to pursue a degree in finance to understand more about money. I could teach stocks trading if that is interesting.
I enjoy researching, experimenting and practising some knowledge in reality. Recently, I discovered about this topic known as Earthing. In other words, it is Vitamin G. Just walk barefoot on the Earth ground, and mother nature will heal us! It may sound absurd, but ever wonder why do some people loves walking at the beach, swimming at the sea, hiking in mountains, or picnicking at the grassy outdoor park? I had a light bulb moment and began reading the book about it.
I would be happy to share about a country of where I am from, Malaysia. The diversity of the people introduced many types of foods and unique cultures. If you are planning to visit Kuala Lumpur some day, I could share with you my list of favourite food to taste and places for sightseeing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I learned to appreciate coffee tasting when I was working as a barista at Starbucks. Let's hang out over tasting a good cup of coffee.
