To save money ;) but the most important reason is that I love new meeting people, especially locals. Connecting with a local person is a great way to experience the culture and a great way to network.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love all kinds of music and I'm always looking for new kinds of music to love. Though I mostly listen to rock and hip hop artists like; Muse, Incubus, Radiohead, The Doors, CCR, Gorillaz, The Roots, Nas, OuKast, and Gang Starr.

Not personally a huge movie buff, but my favorite trilogy would be Lotr and my favorite movie of all time would be Graboids 2, it's a pretty terrible movie but it has a special place in my heart.

I don't really have a favorite book but the most recent books I've read in order would be, Heart of Darkness, The Last Wish, Night, 1984, World War Z, Treasure Island, and Little Women.
