Overview
About Me
Hello, I've been backpacking across Europe for the past several months, trying my best to stay in places for longer than the customary two to three days so that I can truly get a sense of each city's vibe. I write when I'm able to, and I am currently in the process of documenting my travel misadventures along with advice for millennial backpackers.
I recently taught English in Madrid and worked as a cook in Granada, so I am very familiar with the Spanish language and culture. I plan to settle there eventually.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting interesting people has been the most rewarding part of travel for me. I want to continue that trend: for free! ;)
Interests
LITERATURE: I am an avid reader and I eventually want to obtain a PhD in Comparative Literature. I also write fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Returning to university at the age of 25 (after dropping out 5 years before) in order to finish my bachelor's degree. I graduated last year, at age 27. Prior to that, I had written my degree off as a lifelong regret. Now I feel unstoppable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak with a very clear, neutral American accent, so English learners consistently tell me that I am very easy to understand.
I love cooking. If I wasn't so consumed by writing, it would be my full-time job.
I live in the present. You can too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food. Books. Conversation. Positive energy. Wine (if I have it).
