ABOUT ME

I'm an artist in Columbia, MO. Right now I am inspired by kids, gelatin, water, colors, energy, voices, documentaries, documenting, smells, yoga, my community. I have never couch surfed before but recently met some couch surfers and am eager to participate. Derrick and I want to bike around the country next year so we're starting research now. But now I kind of want to live in Reykjavik.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is I don't do anything about I don't want to do and I don't complain about anything I do. I also think physical problems with the body are directly and indirectly related to emotional and spiritual baggage. And we have the power to release that baggage through physical energetic practice. My path is yoga, and I practice its 8 branches. I try to always see everything in a whole, interconnected way. I always do my best.

Right now I am reading the Wutang Manual, I listen to Zap Mama, and watch scary movies with Derrick because it's almost Halloween. Last night we watched "Faust", I think filmed in 1926 in Germany, and it may have been the first horror movie ever.

Derrick and I biked from Columbia to St. Louis and back in August, and it was such a rush to not know where I was going to sleep each night.

I know a lot about art, teaching art to children, yoga, teaching yoga, doing yoga with children, cooking, the energy centers and lines in the human body. Derrick knows a lot about music, current events, and books.
