ABOUT ME

I'm 21 years old, I study film production at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) and I also read English at Charles University. My free time is quite limited and I spend it on shooting films, reading books, writing essays and trying to have some kind of social and cultural life.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love music. I'm quite open-minded and my favorite artists span across various genres, mainly indie rock, indie pop, dark cabaret, punk, electro and riot grrrl music... with a special place for Amanda Palmer <3 more info at http://www.last.fm/user/des2

films: since i'm studying at a film school, my film taste developed more towards non-commercial films with artistic ambitions. however, i adore films directed by Tim Burton. i also love English humour - Monty Pythons, British sitcoms and other TV series by BBC.

as for the books, i don't read as much as i would like to. i prefer 20th century women authors, but studying English literature, i can have a conversation on more books than i've actually read :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

volunteering abroad, assisting on a film nominated for Oscar... well, nothing was really amazing, i need to try more :)
