ABOUT ME

I was born in Tennessee, USA, but I moved to Madrid, Spain when I was 10, so I've spent more than half my life in Spain. My Dad's Polish, so I feel pretty comfortable in any of those languages and cultures. I also did an Erasmus in Germany, and I kind really liked living there (so peaceful!). Apart from that, I love animals, nature, books, and music. I actually play the guitar and piano and write my own songs. Right now I'm learning to play the uke, I love it :)
I'm also vegan.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that in life one should do something to change the world however slightly and make it a better place because of our being alive.
I also believe in not giving in to the actual system which is making life hard for small businesses and only helps great companies. I'm referring especially to factory farming versus traditional sustainable farming, but it can be applied to everything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm really new to couchsurfing, but I love inviting friends or people I meet in my travels to my house in Madrid, and some of them have actually come! I loved having them. I look forward to having new people over once I have my own place, and using couchsurfing to travel and meet new people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: especially English novels or Fantasy, I'm a real nerd
Movies; anything LOTR, Pride and Prejudice,Juno, Moulin Rouge, Burnt by the Sun are the first ones that come to mind.
Music: I looooove any form of folk, from the oldies like Anne Briggs to newer ones like Johnny Flynn and Lisa Hannigan. I also like some indie, rock or experimental bands, idk, Sigur Ros for example.
