Overview
About Me
I'm trying to let the world and others' experiences teach me. Life is the best professor and I enjoy having experiences above any tour.
Looking to travel ethically and live conscientiously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
If you want cheap housing, go to a hostel or get an AirBnB. I don't like the tourist path - I want to meet people, share in their lives even if for a day or a cup of coffee, and hopefully exchange laughter, fun, and new understanding!
I love the Couchsurfing community and spirit, and I have been on it for 6 years. I've been to meetups, and while I don't have a couch I would love to have you for coffee and show you the best sights and bars in New York City.
Interests
sociology, photography, the internet, going to concerts, used book stores and clothing shops, whiskey, beer, and wine; antique shops and curios, sitting at cafes for several hours.
I like to talk about society, culture, current events and pop culture over drinks - if that sounds fun to you, we could be friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some Music I like: Kanye West, Blood Orange, David Bowie, the Clash, Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, D'Angelo, hip hop, folk some house...I'm kind of into a lot of different things, most likely I will listen to something and with some exceptions, I will enjoy it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one?
A shortlist: running through Berlin with other Couchsurfers in the dead of night, making homemade pasta in Porto, getting lost in Marrakech, partying in Lisbon during Carnaval until the break of dawn, staying up til morning in Amsterdam, getting into fights in Brussels, making chicken curry for anarchists in Thessaloniki!
Teach, Learn, Share
I will cook for you! I can make some general French dishes, also hummus, Southern food, and stir fry. I can set up a darkroom and I know a little bit about a lot of different things. I can play about 4 chords on the guitar. I can sing a bit. I'm interested in whatever anybody else has to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope to share my companionship, I can teach you some English, maybe we can listen to music together and we can discover new things
