I really like animals, and I have a pet rabbit named Thibault, named after the pet lobster of Gérald de Nerval, a French poet who suffered from fits of madness.

So far I have stayed with people in Paris, but when I return to the US, I would like to host people as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had really great experiences couch surfing. The people that I've met are extremely interesting and social. I think couch surfing makes traveling much more fun.

I can teach English, and I'd like to improve my French (right now, I'm at the advanced level in French but I'm not yet fluent). I can also teach things related to literature (that's what I study in university), and skiing (it seems like a long time ago now, but I used to be a professional skier).
