About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm from Wallonia, Belgium, from a family of 5 children. I studied bio-engineering and got a PhD in Microbiology at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium). I spent two years doing research ar Michigan State University (USA). Some of the things I want to achieve in my life : growing my own food, getting around by my own means and eradicate poverty.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few experiences with friends on holiday (France, Canada). I have hosted several couchsurfers with my flatmates in Belgium and in my apartment in East Lansing.
Interests
I like to do outdoor sports : biking, hiking, sailing, paragliding, snowboarding, ...
I discovered ultimate frisbee in Scotland and I've been playing in a team for a few years years now.
I'm doing research in biochemistry but I'm interested in all kind of sciences. I very concerned about the future of humanity and about what we could do to give a brighter future to the next generations.
I don't have a car and I avoid using one if it is not needed. You may see me going around on my bike all year round.

Climbing 1200 m in the Alps on snowshoes and snowboarding it all down in a few minutes.
Cooking 400 crepes for a housewarming party.

I've lived with 10 people in the same house for 4 years : the best time of my life so far.
Building a wooden tower 8m high with ropes and poles.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I have an extra room which can accommodate two guests ans a couch for two more in the living room. Plus some extra space in the attic, if needed. I can lend mattresses and sleeping bags.
