ABOUT ME

My "Login" always says Melbourne but don't be fooled, I'm actually in Sydney.

I'm an artist. Love music and creativity. My passions are surfing, travel and art.
My parents named me Desmond, an Irish name meaning 'man of the world'...how do you live up to that? I've been surfing for 21 years,done some travelling in Australia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Scotland, England, Ireland, Austria, Germany and New Zealand, and I've painted a a myriad of things. What drives me is the fact that I can never get enough waves, see enough of the world or paint enough images. What inspires me is the number talented and diverse surfers, travellers and artists with whom I've had the pleasure of sharing a moment on their path.
I work as an artist, illustrator, custom painter, bodypainter, modelmaker, sculptor, mouldmaker and signwriter
I freelance most of the time and really dig working in creative projects. I grew up on the Northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. You can check out www.myspace.com/desMondoStudio to see a bit more of what my arts about. My new studio space is in Balgowlah, just 5 minutes from Manly

Karma is king.
I like to teach and be taught wherever I go. Spread some paint and colour around the globe.

I spent a two month period next to Ningaloo reef in Western Australia. I surfed 600m offshore almost everyday for 60 days with the turtles whales and reef sharks.
