I moved to Philly three years ago to live with my best friend. I've loved exploring the city and getting to know some awesome people.

I try not to think in ways that limit the possibilities of the universe. Some ideas I love:

I haven't traveled or hosted much recently, but I've surfed and hosted before.

Interests

I love being outside - I've explored a few hiking trails around Philly and I can't wait to explore more. When the weather is nice I love to put up my hammock in a nearby park and read. I go to karaoke several times a month with friends. I love yoga and running.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Nick Bantock (especially the Griffin & Sabine series), Neil Gaiman, or Robert Heinlein. The Fables and Flight series of graphic novels. The Rainbow Annals, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Siddhartha. The poetry of Mary Oliver, Elizabeth Barret Browning, Rumi and Hafiz.

Movies: Being There, The Seventh Seal, Baghdad Cafe, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Young Frankenstein, Talladega Nights, Waking Life, Talk to Her, The Fall.

Music: I listen to all kinds of music, depending on my mood. Anything from Etta James to Johnny Cash to stuff like Incubus, Moxy Frouvous, Moby, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Mountain Goats, or Flogging Molly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most beautiful places I've been is the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves in New Zealand. Sitting in the boat inside the cavern surrounded by thousands of points of light is like floating in space. http://www.waitomo.com/waitomo-glowworm-caves.aspx
