Hello :)
I am Desirée, 23 from Italy, and currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
I love fashion, sewing, reading and doing outdoor sport, free time is never enough to do all that, and many times company is missing as well. (For how important can be to be able to enjoy experiences on one's own, sharing is also a part of life, otherwise we would all end up lonley and grumpy.)
I see the world as unendless possibilities that are there just for the ones who are ready to catch them, and I am among this ones.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

When I travel, i don't want to se the skeleton of a city, I want to feel its soul.
To do that it's good to meet locals and to share stories with them, to experience things together.
I've had two couchsurfing experiences as a guest, both have been very positive, same as a host. Hopefully it'll keep going this way :)

For now I'm living in Abu Dhabi, because of accomodation policies I am not allowed to host, but still I am more than happy to meet up and show around :) And same I'd like when travelling! Happy feels and travel to everybody!

Interessen

My interests are many:
sewing, fashion, reading and outdoor sport.
I also like the sea, the sound of waves, the woods, and the sound of wind.
After being in Uae for a while, I must admit that rainy and foggy days without sun have their romantic struggle which is nice to feel from time to time.
Learning new languages (even if few words) is always enriching, for that I try to do this every time I go abroad :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: kind of passive hearing of anything, besides few groups which I follow, is nice to hear new and different kind of music.
Movies: "Biggest" fan of "A Song of Ice and Fire" and some random others.
Books: Mostly fantasy, also some about human beings and introspection.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

There is more than one, luckly, otherwise life would be boring!

Being alone in a forest for 36 hours is surely the most amazing one, without any doubt.
