Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't surfed or been a host yet and have only recently tried to meet people through CS. I have friends who have both surfed and hosted and have told me many wonderful things about it.

Flying - I have flown Cessna's the 152 and 172 model
I enjoy doing things that scare the shit out of me.. like skydiving, bungie jumping.. flying etc.
People.. I am interested in people. I love to learn about people..where they come from.. who they are.. what makes them tick etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of movies, books etc. I really love books about travel and have read just about every book out there by a solo woman traveler.. Or at least I think I have. I typically like comedies because I love laughing. I enjoy books that make me think or help me understand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Got" into the Coliseum in Rome at night, Have seen the Taj Mahal, have seen whales breech and glaciers in Alaska. I have a hugged a disabled man in the streets of Santiago simply because he had a sign that said free hugs.. and I figured maybe we both could use one. I have flown a plane and landed it all on my own. I have spent a week in the desert and have drank the water in India, got sick, went to a hospital, got out.. I hope to spend time in orphanages/schools while on my travels and provide help/teaching anyway that I can.
