I am dancer, artist, care taker, and activist. When I am not busy with my nine to five I am volunteering for various organizations, projects, and fundraisers.

I also enjoy working in my real passion which is art and creating beautiful things. Either behind the camera with my photography business, getting dirty with pencils and paint on canvas and paper, or dancing with my beautiful ladies at Vertical Fusion, if I don't find an outlet for all of my creative energy I get very anxious. Plus life is to short to not live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a caregiver for my elderly parents. Because of some dangerous situations that are happening in my home I need to keep helping my parents with money but I need to get out for a while. I figured maybe I can kill to birds with one stone and take care of my wanderlust.

I would like to do some extended stays in new locations but I'm not looking to move or stay in hotels. I'm in a unique situation where I can work from anywhere until October. It's been two years now since my mermaid heart has dipped into the ocean and I really want to be on the beach!

So it wouldn't be hard for me to do to do a couple of weeks in one location etc.

I'm low maintenance I buy my own food, and I'll buy you dinners lol for taking me in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very wide taste in music pretty much anything but modern christian and country.

As far as movies go I tend to watch a lot of dramas and comedies but not rom-com's. My favorite directors are Kevin Smith and Quentin Tarantino. I did A LOT of theater in school starting in preschool so I can get into pretty much any movie as long as its intriguing.

Lately it's been a lot of true crime and social justice books. The stack that is sitting next to me that I recently finished in the last year is Caste, The Stranger Beside Me, I'll Be Gone in The Dark, White Fragility, Borne A Crime, Everyone's a alien when us a alien too, Me and White Supremacy, Stay Woke, Zodiac, Mind Hunter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the pandemic I've re-embraced my love for letter writing by starting a postcard exchange. Some of the podcast I listen to have a big community so I have gotten their addresses and have done posts on Instagram to collect address.

Hopefully I'd like to turn this into something that writes to people in nursing homes or children's hospitals for holidays.

I am pretty advance when it comes to yoga. I could teach a few thing but I am not certified. If you need a buddy and you want to try out a pole or a dance class for the first time I'm your pal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a photographer. Do you need head shots or family photos? Do you need new photos of your place for your profile? I've been a dancer and performer for years if you want someone to go to classes with you I love checking stuff out or helping give advice on stuff.
