I grew up on a farm and I love to live on the countryside. I love animals (and their rights) and I'm not afraid of dirt ;) I'd describe myself as a very uncomplicated person, always open for new ideas and lateral thinkers. Sometimes I'm really curious, sometimes I can be critical and like to discuss. I feel enriched when I meet new people and can listen to their stories. People say I'm a positive person who likes to socialise & bring people together.

I love the feeling of leaving home not knowing where I'll arrive in the end, where I'll stopover and which people I'll meet. That's what adventure is for me: travelling with some uncertainty but full of anticpation about what is to come and which amazing people I'll meet.

兴趣

I'm interested in a lot of things. But what I can get really crazy about is everything that has something to do with sustainability: sharing, repairing, do-it-yourself and upcycling projects, urban gardening & veggie cooking. In fact everything that makes you need less but getting more at the same time ;-)

Okay, my favorite book - and that will never ever change - is and always will be Harry Potter. That's the book I grew up with and which put me under its spell from the first page on. However, there are so many more books I love.

For music goes the same: I cannot really tell which music I like most. If I had to decide I'd rather go for Indie/Alternative/Rock. I like melodic music with a catchy rhythm. But I'm open for any kind of music. That's why I love going to festivals, dancing under the sky and enjoying happy people.

I don't want to start listing my favorite movies here. So many! One I can't deny is The Lord of the Rings ;) And there are the series I enjoy a lot...last crush: The Umbrelly Academy - waaaatch it!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While travelling, I've already experienced many amazing things so I just don't want to highlight a certain one here.
One amazing thing I've done before I got the travel feaver, at the age of 14, is a ride on a hot-air balloon. It went so low so that we could touch the tips of the corn field and wave to the people who had a BBQ in their gardens. Then again it went so high that I had to look straight on the horizon to not get sick and that the air felt cool even though it was midsummer.

I love to share. I guess that's one aspect of my sustainable mind ;) I love sharing tools, food, books, cars, clothes, basically everything that can be moved.
I've thrown a few "clothes swapping parties" where everybody can bring clothes which are not worn anymore and exchange them for "new" ones. Like this everybody is happy because she got a new shirt, pair of pants or shoes without having it produced and spending any money for it. Everybody has too much in her or his closet...throw off some ballast, it feels great :)
