PHILOSOPHY

If you’re going to be in love at a young age, be in love with yourself. Be in love with life. You will reap no bigger benefits than what comes from having a passion to pursue your goals and dreams. I’m a firm believer in independence and working hard for the things you want most. Stop waiting for a miracle or waiting for other people to do it for you, take charge and earn it yourself. Only YOU know what you want most in life and only YOU can achieve that because no one wants your happiness as much as you do and no one will be as disappointed as you if you don’t get it. Whether it be career goals, dreams of traveling, or just within your personal life…we are all in control of our own happiness. Yes, life throws us some obstacles and some of us are not as advantaged as others, but we are who we choose to be. If you don’t like your situation, have the strength and courage to want better for yourself and change it! Stop making decisions in order to please others. Be selfish and choose options that will improve yourself. Once you discover a passion in living, you’ll realize there is no greater miracle than life itself. Growing old is a privilege denied to many, so take advantage of this short life we are given and live it to the absolute fullest. Live a life so meaningful that it’ll comfort you in death. Once you make yourself happy, everything else will fall into place.

Interests

I love meeting new friends and learning about other people. I'm a very adventurous person and always up for a new challenge! I never really get around to "relaxing" on my vacations because I want to do/see everything that the country/city I'm visiting has to offer.
Traveling is definitely a major passion of mine and has shaped who I am entirely. I've been backpacking in Yosemite National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Zion National Park, and through the Chugach Mountains in Alaska.
I've done several mud runs/obstacle races including Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, Merrell Down & Dirty Obstacle Race, Warrior Dash, Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge (ROC), Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Mud Run, Color Run, Electric Run, Mud Factor, and Gladiator Rock N Run.
Backpacking, traveling, writing, fitness, scuba diving, mud runs, obstacle races, hiking, etc.
Scuba diving is one of my most recent hobbies and I've been diving in Catalina Island, San Diego, Laguna Beach, Silfra Fissure in Iceland, and Richelieu Rock in Thailand.
Still trying to make it to all 50 states. Thus far I've visited California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, New York, Louisiana, Hawaii, Alaska, Utah, Illinois, North Dakota, and New Jersey.
I love anything active, outdoors, and thrilling!
